Ballet lads raise a quid or tutu

Uncategorised,General

THERE has to be a good reason for a bunch of burly blokes to parade around in shocking pink tutus and ballet leggings.

And luckily for this lot, they can boast the best reason of all as they were helping to raise money for a desperately ill child.

It didn’t stop them from getting some strange looks at the opening British Touring Car Championship round at Brands Hatch.

Spokesman Ian Ball – far left in the picture above – said: “We’ve had plenty of attention and loads of propositions. Mainly from men, though, which is a bit worrying.”

Most of the “Team Gorgeous” gang run service centres for Pirtek, the pipe and hose company that sponsors the BTCC Honda of Andrew Jordan.

And they were raising money at Brands for stricken three-year-old Dylan Duff, whose father works at Pirtek UK’s head office in London.

Ball added: “The idea is to give Dylan one last holiday at Disneyland before the inevitable.”
