Current Vacancies - Technical Sales Representative

Maintain Pirtek Sales & Service Objectives

  • Work within the overall spirit of the Pirtek Franchise System, support fellow employees, other Franchisees and the Franchisor in development and operation of Pirtek System.
  • To provide the highest level of service of existing customers.
  • To maintain close contact with existing customers, therefore, know and understand the customers needs
  • Dress- In line with corporate requirements including clothing acceptable as commercial and in line with customers expectations
  • To search for new customers with the committed objective of building our permanent customer base.
  • Create customer awareness of our range of services and products
  • Build sales to exceed projected targets
  • Maintain adequate gross profit margins and control/expenses


  • Complete daily reports- customer contact and results achieved. TSR monthly report to be completed by 5th working day of following month with copies send to franchisee and relevant Sales Development Manager.

Provide adequate supervision to the MSST's

  • Provide sales leads and opportunities from perusal of trade publications, newspapers, or by calling on customers.
  • Develop and maintain suitable targets for self motivation and leadership.
  • Provide to MSST's adequate sales support and promotional materials.
  • Assist Centre Manager in constant review of MSST's territories and monthly performance including sales forcasting and budget settings
  • Assist Centre Manager with customer quotations and follow up.
  • Supervise and maintain Territory Management and Reporting systems as specified from time to time.
  • Chair regular staff sales strategy meetings and set future targets.

Provide regular training to the MSST group through:

  • Pirtek Training Academy courses
  • In- Centre training sessions for technical knowledge and product releases.
  • Field support to MSST's for their sales skills development.
  • Counsel MSST's in corporate Imagery requirements including vehicle and personal hygiene.
  • Attend the Franchisee/TSR meetings on a regular basis and at the appointed times.


  • Observe requirements covering use of company vehicle.- Maintain in a clean and tidy state.- Maintain all signs and allow only these signs and stickers to be applied to the vehicles as approved by franchisee.
  • Operate the vehicle within all legal requirements (parking included)
  • Maintain company tech literature, price lists and brochures in good condition and in keeping with corporate image.
  • Undertake personal training programmes of a sales, technical or self development nature.
  • Develop strategic relationships with customer base beyond simple buyer- seller relationship.
