BMW Pirtek Racing has today revealed a striking new livery that Andrew Jordan will use for his 2018 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship campaign.

The new livery adorning Andrew’s West Surrey Racing-run BMW 125i M Sport will form part of Pirtek’s 30th anniversary celebrations throughout the year – with the leading provider of hydraulic solutions and mobile hose replacement services having first entered the UK market back in 1988.

Since then, the company has gone on to establish 85 centres and 350 mobile workshops to cater for the British market – firmly establishing Pirtek UK as the dominant force in its sector and securing multiple awards along the way.

In recognition of the success enjoyed across the last 30 years, the new-look BMW Pirtek Racing Racing challenger – revealed today during the annual BTCC Media Day event at Donington Park – will feature a special livery to celebrate Pirtek’s 30 years of Excellence.

Gone is the chrome seen for the past two years and in its place is a striking dark blue and yellow colour scheme with Pirtek’s special 30th anniversary featuring prominently.

Andrew will once again run his traditional #77 during the year ahead.

“For a few years now, the livery of the race car has been similar to the Pirtek vans you see up and down the country featuring the red chevrons running down the side,” Andew said.

“Given that this is a big year for Pirtek as its celebrates its 30th anniversary, it seemed like the perfect time to mix things up a bit with the BTCC car and I think the end result is spectacular; it’s the best looking car on the grid.

“Having led the way with our chrome livery in recent seasons, we decided to go with a new matt finish on the car and it really brings out the colours of the design.

“The new look BMW Pirtek Racing car is one that will certainly stand out on track and I’m more excited than ever now to get the season underway at Brands Hatch in a few weeks time.”

Andrew will kick-start his bid for a second BTCC title at Brands Hatch on the weekend of 6/7 April.
