Picture a world in which your Pirtek trade counter was open 24/7; where you could purchase hoses, assemblies and a multitude of other Pirtek products from the comfort of your armchair; where the products you need to ensure the smooth running of your business were just a mouse-click or finger-swipe away.
Well picture it no longer. Pirtek has thrown open the doors to its virtual Webshop and everyone is invited.
The store contains more than 34,000 line items including some of Pirtek’s most-popular and most regularly ordered products. Following the completion of a simple registration form, customers can order products and choose to pay on account or by credit or debit card. Those products can be delivered to the customer’s premises or to a specified site location. Orders placed before 4pm can be delivered next day.
Alternatively, customers can opt for the “click and collect” service, allowing them to pick up their chosen items from any Pirtek UK centre in the UK.
“Here at Pirtek, we realise that business operates around the clock and that our customers need round the clock access to the products we supply,” says CEO Alex McNutt. “The Pirtek Webshop has been developed to satisfy that need. Businesses can now order our products whenever and wherever they need them and our national logistics operation will ensure that they receive those products on a next-day basis.”
McNutt reports that the 34,000 products available from the Pirtek Webshop are backed by a virtual library of technical data sheets to help customers select the most suitable item for their specific need. Each order generates an electronic receipt, providing a paper trail from order to delivery.
