Current Vacancies - Mobile Technical Trainer

Job Purpose Summary

To provide a professional training service both mobile and classroom based to the Pirtek network of Franchisees and Pirtek customers. Build the newly appointed mobile training role into a sustainable role from which to build further opportunities and training functions.

  • To perform technical training operations during Pirtek Induction periods both practical and theory.
  • Provide on-site training support for Pirtek centres with newly appointed MSST's
  • Deliver classroom based training presentation to the network and Pirtek customer base.
  • Conduct City & Guilds on-site assessments for newly appoinyed MSST's and during centre Manager assessments.
  • Assist with organization, strategy and planning to meet training needs of the network and deliver training courses to fulfil the needs, measure and follow up.
  • Plan and deliver training courses personally where necessary to augment that is provided externally or internally by others.
  • Organise training venues, logistics, accomodation a required to achieve effficient training attendance and delivery.
  • Produce standard monthly and bespoke internal reports where applicable.
  • Organise and submit quarterly movements to the department head.
  • Conduct and produce on site task audits and deliver to the franchisee
  • Ensure all training activities and materials meet the relevant organizational and statutory policies, including Health & Safety, employment and equality laws.
  • Develop self, and maintain knowledge in the field at all times

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Daily- On-site training and City & Guilds assessments
  • Monthly- Attend and deliver technical training days during Induction Training

Person Specification

- Personality

Must be motivated, positive and focused on providing a reliable and consistent service at all times. The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough, a team player and an excellent time manager.

- Specific Job Skills

Ability to deliver technical training programmes to an excellent standard to both internal and external candidates, in house training will be provide. Eventually the individual will be required to deliver Health & Safety training after recieving the required training. The candidate should have good interpersonal skills as well as excellent telephone manner.

- Computer Literacy

Required to have experience in using MS Office 2003 or later. In particular, they should be able to use Outlook, Word and Excel. Training on in-house system will be provided.

- Communication Skills

The individual should have excellent communication skills as they will be the liaising with for Pirtek centres and Pirtek customer. Excellent written and spoken English required.

- Business Skills

The individual will be required to build the 'mobile training' role as an additional function to the additional training packages that Pirtek deliver.
