2 September 2010 - The Knockhill race circuit in Scotland hosts the eighth round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship this weekend, with Pirtek Racing looking to capitalise on the momentum the team has built after scoring points in each of the last three rounds of the series.

PIRTEK RACING SHINE AT SILVERSTONE

23rd August- Beautiful British sunshine greeting the Pirtek Racing team over the weekend as the seventh round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship took place at the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit in Northamptonshire. The striking blue, red and yellow Pirtek car with Andrew Jordan at the wheel stormed to a points finish in the first race of the day, which was followed by a promising podium run in race two prematurely ended by a puncture. The final race of the day saw Jordan once again in the points when a racing incident put him out of the race.

PIRTEK RACING HOPING FOR A SILVERSTONE STUNNER

18 August 2010 - Pirtek Racing will race at the world famous Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire this weekend as part of the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. The seventh round of the series will see the Pirtek Team star at the home of British Motorsport as youngster Andrew Jordan (21) spearheads the team in their fight for on track success.

NORFOLK CIRCUIT NEXT UP FOR PIRTEK RACING

The 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car season resumes this weekend after a six week summer break as it heads to the Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk for the sixth round of the season. Pirtek Racing and driver Andrew Jordan will return to the track still fresh from their victory at the previous round at Croft where they took a dominant lights-to-flag maiden win, a feat they aim to repeat.

PIRTEK RACING TAKES MAIDEN VICTORY IN THE BTCC

21 June2010 –The Pirtek Racing team took a superb maiden win yesterday in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at the Croft Circuit in Yorkshire. The team, who are in their debut season of the BTCC, started the race from pole position and took a dominant win after driver Andrew Jordan, led from lights to flag.

The opening race of the day saw the team score their first of three point’s finishes with a tenth place. Race two netted the team a seventh place, which was followed with an outright victory in the final race, as well as the Independent Constructor’s trophy. The team left the Yorkshire Circuit with a great haul of 21 points from the day’s racing.

PIRTEK RACING READY TO LINE UP ON THE 2010 BTCC GRID

The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship will see a new addition to the grid for the 2010 season as Pirtek Racing launches its campaign on Britain’s premier motor racing series. PIRTEK BACKED VXRACING TAKES 2009 MANUFACTURERS’ AND TEAMS’ TITLES

Pirtek backed VXRacing celebrated taking the Manufacturers’/Constructors’ title and the Teams’ title in the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship. In the final outing for the manufacturer-backed BTCC team, VXRacing fought to the wire at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, with Fabrizio Giovanardi, Matt Neal and Andrew Jordan pushing to the limits in each race. Giovanardi took two podiums and a fourth place to secure third in the BTCC Drivers’ Championship. Neal finished with two fifths and an eighth place, taking fourth place in the Drivers’ Championship, while Jordan was fourth in the first race, 16th in the second and retired with accident damage in the third race, finishing ninth in the Drivers’ Championship.

PIRTEK BACKED VX RACING IN THICK OF TITLE FIGHT AFTER ROCKINGHAM-ANDY JORDAN ON THE PODIUM IN RACE 3

Pirtek backed VX Racing’s Fabrizio Giovanardi remains in the thick of the Drivers’ Championship title hunt after the penultimate round of the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Rockingham Motor Speedway. A third place podium and a sixth place puts Giovanardi 13 points behind Championship leader, Colin Turkington, as they head for the final event of the season. BTCC veteran, Jason Plato, is also back in the fight after scoring two podiums at the Northamptonshire track. Andy Jordan helped his team mate in the first race, shadowing him throughout to take seventh place. An eighth place in the second race and a second place finish in the third, gave the 20-year-old driver his best weekend of the season.

PIRTEK BACKED VX RACING CLOSES IN ON TITLES AT KNOCKHILL

The HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship round at Knockhill circuit in Scotland brought three podiums for Pirtek backed VX Racing with Fabrizio Giovanardi, consolidating his second position in the Drivers’ Championship and closing the gap to nine points from leading driver, Colin Turkington. Matt Neal recovered from a disappointing non-finish in the first race to two fourth places, while Andrew Jordan had two seventh places as his best finishes of the day.

PIRTEK BACKED VX RACING CELEBRATES DOUBLE VICTORY AT SNETTERTON

Pirtek backed VX Racing celebrated two race wins at Snetterton race circuit in Norfolk on Sunday, the first double victory of the season so far for the team. The sixth round of the ten event 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship produced three excellent races, with reigning champion, Fabrizio Giovanardi taking top honours in the first two races and a second place podium in the final race of the day. Matt Neal endured a tough weekend, with a best finish of third position, as well as a ninth and fourteenth place. Andrew Jordan was unable to capitalise on a strong qualifying session, with a fourth and two 12th places.

Pirtek backed VXRacing rides the storm for victory

Pirtek backed VX Racing took victory in the final race of Sunday’s HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship round at Croft Circuit, with Fabrizio Giovanardi taking his second win of the season. The British weather played a major part in the fortunes of the VX Racing team, with dry and hot conditions for the first two races not favouring the Vauxhalls, but late afternoon rain giving the drivers the grip levels they needed to run up front. Reigning champion, Giovanardi finished fifth in both of the earlier races, while Matt Neal had two sixth places and an eighth, and 20-year-old driver, Andrew Jordan finished with three points-scoring results - fourth, seventh and eighth places.

OULTON PARK PROVES BIGGEST CHALLENGE THIS SEASON FOR PIRTEK BACKED VX RACING

Oulton Park proved to be one of the biggest challenges of the season so far for Pirtek backed VX Racing. The fourth round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at the popular track brought each of the drivers a podium finish . However all three had to fight hard every lap of every race to produce these strong results. Fabrizio Giovanardi notched up his 100th BTCC race at the Cheshire circuit, competing in his fourth season of the championship. Andrew Jordan was delighted to take his third podium finish of the season so far. Matt Neal, with a third, a fourth and a seventh place retains his Drivers’ Championship lead, but only by two points.
