Variety, it is said, is the spice of life. If that’s the case, things must get pretty spicy around Pirtek Derby which, like its fellow Pirtek Centres, boasts an incredibly broad and diverse range of customers.

Take, for example, HW Martin, a local company with national interests that include waste transfer, traffic management, de-vegetation on railways, safety fencing on motorways, plant hire, two truck franchises, as well as the fencing business upon which the company empire is built.

“We place huge demands on our suppliers. We operate a national service and we expect our support services to operate along the same lines. We are a Pirtek national account, which gives the company emergency cover throughout the UK, but it is operated through a single point of contact - Pirtek Derby," explains plant manager Geoff Kearsley. "This one-stop facility has major advantages for both parties and it works well for cost control and management. We have built up an extremely close relationship with Pirtek Derby over the past five years, and they remain the most effective hose service we have used. We are very satisfied with their service, In a nutshell, they’ve done everything they said they would."
